Nico Moreno, born on August 20, 1994, in Caen, Normandy, France, is a prominent DJ and producer in the industrial techno and rave scene. Influenced by the Parisian underground of the 1990s, he began his musical journey at a young age, initially exploring genres like trap, EDM, and house. At 18, he fully committed to music, leaving his sales studies and working various jobs while honing his craft.
His signature style—rapid basslines, precise kicks, and distorted synthesizers—has established him as a key figure in hard techno.
Reflecting on his journey in an interview, Nico Moreno shared:
"It wasn't easy to get here... Track by track and year after year, I refined my sets and my tracks, but above all my 'crazy' attitude behind the decks and my way of playing."
Throughout his career, Nico Moreno has performed at renowned festivals such as Tomorrowland, Verknipt, Time Warp in Germany, Kappa FuturFestival in Italy, Dreambeach in Spain, Duro Festival in Montmeló, Spain, and Blackworks Festival in Barcelona.
He has collaborated with notable artists in the techno scene, including groundbreaking tracks with Sara Landry and Reinier Zonneveld, as well as working alongside artists like 999999999 and Dyen through his label, Insolent Rave Records, which focuses on raw and industrial techno.
In 2024, he released his debut album, "You Can't Stop The Movement," comprising ten tracks that showcase his artistic evolution and solidify his position in the techno scene.
